Basketball
As part of the Independent Schools Basketball League, PTI plays against other high schools in the Greater Vancouver area. In the 2006-2007 season, the Panthers finished third place. Two of our players were given MVP medals, Tomi Rosenthal and Nissan Borr. The Panthers played hard the 2007-08 season, winning their first three games of the season.
Mr. Anderson, a General Studies teacher at PTI, coaches the team. He is a very enthusiastic about the team, and we are lucky to have him.
2009-2010 Season

The Junior team was not a formal league team but played 2 exhibition games. This is in the hopes that there will be a formal team next season. Their record was 1 win and 1 tie. 0 loses.

The Senior team moved into Division 1 this year. We had a strong year and competed well but were defeated in the first round of the playoffs by the team that won the championship.

The PTI 2008-2009 basketball team has won their division’s championship! This has been the goal they have been working to achieve since the team formed in 2002 under the expert coaching of Mr. Scott Anderson. Thank you staff and parents of PTI for your support and congratulations PTI Panthers!
Hockey
Headed by Mr. Cameron's initiatives, the Physical Education teacher, our boys participated in a mini-hockey season in 2008. The boys played four four on four floor hockey games against other schools in the area. Mr. Cameron hopes to involve the boys in other inter-school tournaments in the future.
